The Roots of Diabetes

Posted by admin

Essentially speaking, there are two ways one ca develop diabetes. Either a person’s blood sugar levels become abnormally high because the person is unable to produce insulin, or the person is resistant to the effects of insulin. Some people with  diabetes  are unlucky enough that they have both. All three kinds of diabetes –type 1, type 2, and gestational, have similar symptoms but have varying underlying causes. Generally, only gestational diabetes can be cleared up and this usually happens after birth. Type one and type 2 are lifelong conditions that can be very difficult to live with without proper treatment.
