Oral medications such Robinul are sometimes used for hyperhidrosis. However, these medications haven’t seen a lot of success because of the bad side-effects (mostly dry mouth and blurred vision). Bacterial infections can cause hyperhidrosis. Here are some examples: Endocarditis, Osteomyelitis, Abscesses and AIDS virus (HIV). Night sweats can be an early symptom of some cancers, namely lymphoma and leukemia. If you’re worried that your sweating may be a sign of cancer, look for other symptoms, like unexplained weight loss and fevers.
