Mostly on how much the ingredients cost and how much work went into making/decorating the cake. Usually diabetic cakes range between 15-25 dollars for the grocery store bought cakes. If you're not decorating them too fancy, or making them special order (which is a slidding scale price range- the harder it is to make, the more expensive) then I would say between 15-20 dollars. Just make sure you can find the right ingredients within that price range. If not, you may have to up the price. Also check with your local bakery. Ask them what their prices are on diabetic cakes, as well as your local grocery store (if they sell them). That should give you a good idea of what to charge. Hope I helped! Most cakes are about the same as regular cakes but the difference is the diabetic cakes are smaller due to the fact that those treats should be eaten in limited quanties by a diabectic. Making the smaller size perfect for diabetics. Lets say a single layer 8" round cake diabetic is about 6.99 Where as a single layer 8" round regular would be about 5.99.
