The South Beach Diet or diet south beach is being touted as a great way to lose weight. However it wasn’t developed for this goal specifically. It was developed as a way to help the health of the cardiovascular system, as purpose for which it has been conclusively shown to be effective, thanks to some scientific tests on the matter. The weight loss is actually a pleasant side-effect of leading a healthier lifestyle. On the other hand, one must not forget that diet is only one side of the coin. Frequent exercise is still very much necessary.
