You May Want to Hold Off on the Exercise Machines

Posted by admin

This is the time of the year when lots of people decide to start an exercise program. However, If you're thinking of buying some used exercise machines for your home gym, try and wait a couple of months. By then, half of the people starting to work out now will have their equipment up for sale. Now, I'm not suggesting that you wait a few months to start exercising. There are plenty of things you can do without machines. Actually, bodyweight exercises are one of the current workout fads, along with something called functional fitness. So work on a basic program of pushups, bodyweight squats, situps, pullups, dips between sturdy chairs and a few other bodyweight movements, and you'll have a good base for when you do get that equipment.
