lasik and contact lenses

Posted by admin

If a person has been wearing contact lenses for a considerable length of time, there will be certain procedures that have to be followed before a  lasik  surgery is undertaken. For instance if the person has been wearing soft lens, he or she will have to remove the lens and ensure that it is not put on for at least a week before the operation. Similarly, if the person has been wearing a hard contact lens he might have to stop wearing it for at least a couple of months before the lasik surgery is done.
