Cohesive Gel Implants Are Taking the World by Storm!

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Health after a certain age naturally becomes harder. My aunt had a double mastectomy after they found cancer in her breasts. I just read about the cohesive gel implants that women all over the world are saying feel more natural than the silicone-filled implants. Many feel that these implants, which are also called the gummy bear implants because they have that consistency, are much safer than the silicone and saline-filled implants currently available in the U.S. Even when cut with scissors, both pieces stay in tact. This takes away the danger of them leaking out into your body. The gummy bear implants are not available in the U.S. European plastic surgeons have been using them for over fifteen years. The FDA is still conducting testing.

Children’s Allergies

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

If a child has nasal allergies, the parents play an important role in helping to figure out what exactly is causing the symptoms. Further, it is the parent’s job to limit the exposure to allergens and helping the child find relief from their symptoms. Forty percent of children in the United States suffer from chronic nasal allergies. It is important to determine if the allergic symptoms are being caused by indoor allergies or outdoor allergies, and then to pinpoint exactly what is causing the outbreak. Minimize the child’s exposure to the allergen to make them the most comfortable. In this way, medication can be used minimally.
