The Effectiveness of IPL for Rosacea Outlined

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008

IPL, or intense pulse light, is used for treating rosacea.  It works by using a non-laser light source to treat symptoms from redness to flushing to dilated blood vessels.  They can all be treated effectively with ipl for rosacea along with sensible diet and exercise.  Studies show that intense pulse light may not be right for every patient.  However, most patients who participated in the studies have seen some improvement with redness after only a couple of treatments.  Some patients with flushing condition has their condition to become normal again.  For many years dermatologists have been using IPL to help people look and feel better.
