Food for Thought

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

Ponder this when contemplating a solution to dandruff issues:  The foods you consume can play a role in reducing the condition.  You might consider a diet rich in foods that contain Vitamin B and zinc.  B vitamins can help to do something about metabolized fats and lack of carbohydrates in your system; these deficiencies can lead to dandruff.  Cabbage and eggs can provide the vitamin B6 which is a key player in the fight against dandruff.  These also offer sulfur, which is important in getting a healthy scalp.  Choose foods such as nuts (so long as you’re not allergic) to get the benefits of good fats.

Lumbar pain surgery is required for immediate relief

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

My brother-in-law is the Chief Executive officer of his company and most of his time is spent in attending meeting with the clients. Even when in office, his job requires him to be seated in his air-conditioned room handling the entire work through his laptop. Of recent he has developed pain in the lower back area. Last week the pain was so acute that he did not even attend office for consecutively for two days. When he went to the doctor, he was explained that the lower back area supports the weight of the entire body and an acute pain in this area needs a Lumbar Pain Surgery. However, the doctor prescribed him certain medications and exercises and advised that in case there is no improvement in the pain, he will have to go for a surgery.
